Larry Givens earned his entrance into the AMICA Hall of Fame through writing Rebuilding the Player Piano (1963, Vestal Press). His book was, according to the dust cover, intended for those who had never rebuilt a player piano before. Not being content with the simpler player, Givens went on to cover the Ampico, the Duo-Art, and the Welte, nickelodeons and reed organs.
